The Good Egg started life with friends cooking together on the street food markets of London in 2012. Since then, our menus have stayed inspired by the food that our co-founders (Oded, Joel + Alex) grew up eating and loving; travels to the vibrant city (and Oded’s hometown ) of Tel Aviv, afternoons spent in classic Jewish delis of North America and childhood memories of Brick Lane beagles make up a menu that we can’t quite pin point on a map. So we’re a Middle Eastern restaurant, sort of.
All our recipes are curated by our Group Head Chef, Jooles O’sullivan. Joole’s joined The Good Egg in 2015 when we opened our doors in Stoke Newington. Following a number of years working at top london restaurants including working with Mark Hix and at Mission E2. Today, Jooles focuses on delivering fantastic, consistent menus and delicious food at both of our The Good Egg sites and we can’t wait to share a few of her creations with you!
