Nestled on Blandford Street in London’s Marylebone neighbourhood, Jikoni serves food inspired by immigrant cuisine and the rich, shared flavours and cultures across parts of South Asia & the Far East, the Middle East, East Africa and Britain.
Founded by Ravinder Bhogal, an advocate of “proudly inauthentic cooking”, the food served is a celebration of the similarities and differences between cultures. Her cooking has a maternal feel, the kind that “has been at the centre of many of these family oriented cultures”, which makes dinner to Jikoni feel like you’ve been invited into her home.
