Opened in 2018, the Elliott’s Kitchen and Workshop are just a few doors down from each other at 21 and 27 Sciennes Road. The apple green walls are lined with family photos, notes from friends and ceramics Jess has collected on her travels, making Elliott’s feel like it belongs to the local community. Customers sit on the wooden benches out front and tuck into lemon roast chicken with herby grains and garlicky aioli, then wedges of sticky gingerbread with proper homemade custard. For those in the know, this hidden gem has become a home away from home.
